Hello Bloggers!
It’s been too long since the last time I posted something here.. been
busy with stuff. :) I hope you all are doing well and enjoyed your 4th
of July. Hubby and I spent the Independence Day at our neighbor's to the North.
This was both our first time visiting Niagara Falls. Took us roughly eight
hours to get there from home. Although the drive was pretty long, we definitely
had a great time driving state to state. We’re both travelers and don’t mind
long trips/drive like this one. :)
As you can see, I was wearing my USA Flag shirt (bought it when I was in the Philippines for only 200 pesos >> $4.00) to celebrate this big holiday. I was a bit skeptical about wearing this shirt only because we were in Canada. Not sure how people will react. Lol! Thankfully, there were other people wearing USA Flag shirts that day. :) And because of that, it reminded people (tourists) that it was 4th of July (Independence Day) in America.

Margaritaville was our first stop after we got to the hotel.
Lol! The hotel we stayed in was not far from Margaritaville, and since we love
this place (even in Vegas), we had our first meal and picture there. :)
After being in the car for 8 hours, these Margarita Flights samples definitely hit the spot!
I love my margaritas but I enjoy and appreciate it even more after a long drive. Lol! Nothing beats a good cold drinks in a hot weather like this. :)

Niagara Falls
After crossing the Canada border, checked in to the hotel, hubby and I decided to see the falls that same afternoon. Even though the walk was pretty long and we're both tired, seeing the falls was all worth it! Being there, hearing the sound of the water drops to the bottom of the falls, it was really cool!

And of course, 4th of July wouldn't be complete without fireworks. :) We watched the fireworks show from our hotel room balcony. :) Fireworks are just one of my favorite things to see during holidays. There's something about them that makes me feel good and alive. Maybe it's the different colors, maybe the big boom sound they make, or maybe because I just LOVE fireworks! Haha
More photos from our Canada trip
Our Niagara Falls trip is definitely another one for the book. Hopefully, this is not our last visit there and maybe next time, we get to see the other parts of Canada as well. :)
Until next time bloggers! xoxoxo
